Closing Corporate Tax Loopholes
There are a number of loopholes that have been identified in recent years by various community, labor, and advocacy groups that should be closed to save New York State money.
Closing one of these loopholes - improving the method under which limited liability corporations' annual fees are calculated - was estimated by the Division of the Budget to save $75 million annually as of 2007.
