Bulk Purchasing of Prescription Drugs
Despite years of having this issue raised by unions and other progressive groups, New York State has not fully pursued the available options for purchasing prescription drugs in bulk for Medicaid, state employees and retirees, and other state funded programs.
This program could save the state an estimated $100 million per year or more.
